informative. Maybe even better than the black & white newsletter mailed
every other month. Please feel free to contact the lodge with any

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Some good stuff happening at the lodge…everything from a Chili
Cookoff to a Cribbage Tournament. Check out the "What's
Happening" page for more info.
Through our members’ generosity and a lot of hard work,
Cowlitz Valley Moose raised over $3000, and provided Christmas
Dinners & children’s toys and clothes for over 48 needy local
families. Thanks to all who donated time and money for such a
worthy cause. A huge thanks to our Bar Manager Kathy, who
planned, fund raised, shopped, packaged, and whatever else
was needed. Way to go!
Our roof fund is up to $15,724 and still growing, albeit quite
slow at the moment. We’re planning more fund raisers coming
up (Cribbage Tournament, Corn Hole Tournament for starters).
I’ll keep you posted on the total from time to time, or if anyone is
ever curious, just ask.
Cowlitz Valley Moose is once again hosting the Washington
State North Idaho Moose Association Texas Holdem
Tournament. This will be our 3rd time doing this, and everyone
has a great time! I’ve linked an entry form to the ad on the web
page. Just click on it and you can print from there, or you can
pick one up in the lodge.
Still looking for volunteers to take on a Tuesday kitchen.
The first Tuesday of the month has no cook...any takers?
