informative. Maybe even better than the black & white newsletter mailed
every other month. Please feel free to contact the lodge with any

Summer is here...finally! Hopefully, it’ll stick around for a
while. No major events for July here at the lodge, but we’ve still
got Bingo, Moose Races & Poker going on through the summer.
We’ve also got a couple of Friday Dinners. Kathy’s going to
cook up some Liver & Onions on July 21! She’s had a lot of
requests for it, so why not? Now, before all you liver & onions
haters start to boo...she’s also doing Chicken Fried Steak that
night. August 18 we’ll be doing Chicken Fried Steak again, as
well as a Silent Auction to help out with our Roof Fund. This will
also be an opportunity for the golfers to come in and get together
before the tournament.
Speaking of golf...August 19 is our “Moose on the Loose” Golf
Tournament. There’s an entry form included with this
newsletter. If you need more, they are available at the lodge, or
you can download one from out website (www.moose530.org). I
can also email you one, if needed.
The Moose is once again doing the burger stand at the
Unique Tin Car Show on August 26. Make sure you stop by and
say hi. We’re even doing breakfast! If you’d like to volunteer for
it, there’s a sign up sheet in the lodge.
If you’re looking to book the hall for an event, the calendar is
filling up fast...don’t hesitate!
I would like to thank everyone who’ve donated to the Roof
Fund, as well as those who have purchased tickets for the 50/50
drawing. We’re getting there...slowly, but surely. Hope you all
have a great summer! Don’t forget to stop by and enjoy a cold
beverage once in a while!
See you here!
